Who are we?

Image Established in 2004, Audioactive 2 is a not-for profit voluntary community organisation that provides training in the production of contemporary popular music for children and young people aged 8 to 25, through in-house and outreach work in Brighton & Hove and throughout the Southeast.

We use a wide variety of multimedia technology including turntables, mixers, laptops, video and specialist equipment. We also help young artists to develop their identity as performing musicians, through providing recording and CD production facilities, as well as organising live events.

Our tutors

ImageWe employ a wide pool of talented artists and experienced workshop leaders who in addition to their musical, creative and technical abilities, have professional experience in areas ranging from record label and music industry management, working with people who have severe physical or learning disabilities and even qualified school teachers with experience of achieving mainstream curriculum criteria through alternative, more informal creative methods.
